Web Design & Development
SEO is easier to get right while a site is being built than to add afterwards. Every page I build has a clear structure, loads quickly and carries the details search engines and AI tools use to understand it.
Built into every page
From the first build
Lean code, properly sized images and modern hosting, aimed at good Core Web Vitals scores on phones as well as desktops.
One main heading per page and sensible subheadings, so search engines and readers can follow what each section covers.
A title and description written for each page, editable in the CMS, so your listings in search results read well.
Schema markup for your business, services, reviews and articles where it applies, which helps Google and AI tools read the page correctly.
An up-to-date sitemap for Google, and redirects from old addresses when a site is rebuilt, so existing rankings aren't thrown away.
Google Search Console and analytics set up at launch, so you can see how people find the site from day one.
Step 1
I look at what your customers search for and, if you have a site already, which pages bring in visitors now.
Step 2
Each important search topic gets a page that answers it, with addresses and headings planned around it.
Step 3
Speed, headings, page titles, structured data and the sitemap are part of the build, checked page by page.
Step 4
Redirects go live with the new site, the sitemap is sent to Google and I watch Search Console for errors in the weeks after launch.
Yes. The technical foundations of SEO are part of every build. Ongoing work such as new content, link building or local SEO is a separate service.
Tell me about your business and the searches you'd like to show up for, and I'll come back with an honest recommendation.
