Email Deliverability and Reporting

I set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your domain to help keep your mail out of spam, and I track opens, clicks and conversions from there. You get plain-English reports on what's converting, with effort shifted towards it.

Example results

What you can expect from deliverability and reporting

An audit of your setup

A check of your domain's DNS records, your sending platform and any mail that's already landing in spam, with a plain list of what needs fixing.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up

SPF lists the servers allowed to send for your domain, DKIM signs each email, and DMARC tells inboxes what to do with mail that fails. I add or correct all three.

A careful DMARC rollout

I start with a monitoring policy and read the reports, then move to a stricter policy once your genuine mail is passing. That way you don't block your own email.

Advice on list and sending habits

DNS records are only part of it. Complaints, bounces, inactive contacts, a clear unsubscribe link and consent all affect your sender reputation, and I'll tell you what to change.

Tracking that reaches the sale

Opens and clicks from your platform, joined up with conversions in your analytics through tagged links. You can see what each email led to.

Plain-English reports

What was sent, what worked and what I'd change next, written so you can act on it without reading a dashboard.

How a deliverability and reporting project works

  1. Step 1

    Audit

I check your DNS records, your email platform and how your recent sends have performed, then list what needs fixing in order of importance.

  2. Step 2

    Technical setup

I add or correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC. If someone else manages your domain, I'll send them the exact records to add.

  3. Step 3

    Test

I send test emails to confirm the checks pass and mail arrives across the main inboxes, then review the first DMARC reports.

  4. Step 4

    Track and report

I set up open, click and conversion tracking, report in plain English on what's converting and shift effort towards it.

Common questions

It depends on what's involved: how many domains and sending tools you have, what state they're in and how much reporting you need. I'll agree a clear scope and price with you before work begins.

Is your email landing in spam?

Tell me which domain you send from and which platform you use, and I'll come back with an honest recommendation and a clear quote.
