Flyer and Leaflet Design

Bold, single-page pieces built to get noticed and get read. From A5 flyers to folded A4 leaflets, I design each one around a clear message, so people know what you're offering and what to do next.

A single flat sheet, printed on one side or both. It suits one message and is easy to hand out.

What you can expect from flyer and leaflet design

A message people get quickly

One clear headline and a strong image, because most flyers get a quick glance before anyone decides to read on.

A clear reading order

Headline, details, then the next step, so the reader knows where to look and what you'd like them to do.

The right size and fold

A5, A4 or folded to DL, chosen around how much you need to say and whether it's going through doors, into envelopes or onto a counter.

Folds planned properly

Each panel is set to the right width, with the inner flap slightly narrower so it tucks in. The content is placed to read in the order the leaflet opens.

Your brand, used consistently

Your logo, fonts and colours used the same way as on your website and other materials, so people recognise you.

Print-ready artwork

A PDF with 3mm bleed, crop marks and CMYK colour, or set up to whatever your printer asks for.

How a flyer or leaflet project works

  1. Step 1

    Brief and wording

We agree who it's for, what you want them to do and how you'll hand it out. You send the words and images you have, and I'll flag anything missing or too long for the format.

  2. Step 2

    Format and direction

I suggest a size and fold, then design the front so you can see the direction. For a folded leaflet, I also plan which content goes on which panel.

  3. Step 3

    Full design and revisions

I design both sides and make the rounds of changes we agreed at the start, until it's right.

  4. Step 4

    Files for print and screen

You get print-ready artwork set up the way your printer asks for it, plus a lighter version for your website, email and social media.

Common questions

It depends on the size, whether it's folded and how much content there is. I'll give you a clear quote before any work begins.
