Pull-up Banner Design

Eye-catching stands for events, exhibitions and shop fronts. I put your logo and message at eye level and keep the words short, so people can take it in as they walk past.

What you can expect from pull-up banner design

A message you can read from a distance

Large type and few words, because people often see a banner from across a room or while walking past.

The important part at eye level

Your logo and main message sit towards the top, where people look first and where they stay visible in a crowded room.

One strong image

A single picture in the middle to catch the eye. I'll check your photos are big enough, as printing at this size shows up low-resolution images.

Nothing lost in the base

The bottom of the print sits inside the base when the banner is up, so I keep your details above that line and follow your supplier's template.

A set that works together

Several banners can share one layout or stand side by side as one wide backdrop, which suits a larger exhibition stand.

Print-ready artwork

Artwork at the size your supplier asks for, commonly 850 x 2000mm, with the bleed and colour settings they specify.

How a pull-up banner project works

  1. Step 1

    Brief and setting

Tell me where the banner will stand, who will see it and what you'd like them to do. You send your logo, words and images, plus your supplier's template if you have one.

  2. Step 2

    Message and layout

I cut the wording down to what can be read at a distance, then design a first layout with the message at eye level.

  3. Step 3

    Full design and revisions

I build the final design at full size and make the rounds of changes we agreed at the start, until it's right.

  4. Step 4

    Files for your supplier

You get print-ready artwork set up to your supplier's template, plus a smaller image you can share with your team or post online.

Common questions

It depends on how many banners you need and how much of the content has to be created, such as images and wording. I'll give you a clear quote before any work begins.

Got an event coming up?

Tell me where the banner will stand, what you'd like it to say and when you need it, and I'll come back with an honest recommendation and a clear quote.
